RnR comes back with a 3rd place win at Roebling Road

After having to ride solo at Road America, Rachel Sasse had to turn right around the next weekend to make another solo attempt at Roebling Road in Georgia to keep the team ahead in points. With her finish, Rachel was successful in helping to maintain their 1st place position in the GTU class and the team is currently sitting in 5th Overall.

Now enjoying a sorely needed 1 month break, RnR Cycles Racing is setting their sights for round 7 at their home track, Summit Point, WV on August 29th. There's only 2 more races left in this tightly contested series, and although it is unlikely that they will be able to defend their #2 Overall finish from last year, there's still a chance to finish 3rd overall. Summit Point will be the last local race of the season, so come out to cheer them on!

Here comes the 2010 Season!

Roadracing

RnR Cycles Racing ended the 2009 season with a 3rd place win in the ASRA Team Challenge GTL (6th place overall in the series) and a 2nd place finish in GTU (2nd place over all in the series)!

Meanwhile, in the debut of CCS's first-ever women-only series, our own Rachel Sasse captured both Femmoto Middleweight and Lightweight titles in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Unfortunately, with the economy taking it's toll, we've had to pare back on some of our race endeavors. We'll only be running one team in the 2010 ASRA Team Challenge series, while focusing our sprint race efforts in local events (Summit Point, VIR, and NJMP).

Other events include the MARRC track days, and possibly the WERA Endurance races at both VIR and Summit Point. As the race year progresses, be sure to check our schedule for updates!
